Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. Here are the things people ask us most — and if yours isn't here, just give us a bell.

General

We're based in Poole and cover the whole of Dorset and surrounding areas — including Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Ferndown, Verwood, and Dorchester. We also work further afield in Hampshire and Wiltshire for larger projects. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, just ask — we're happy to help if we can.
Yes — we're a fully registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. All waste is taken to licensed disposal facilities and we provide waste transfer notes and consignment notes for every load. You're covered on the compliance side, no worries.
We offer same-day and next-day collection and delivery across Dorset. Things don't always go to plan on site — we get that. Give us a call and we'll do our best to get a lorry to you as fast as we can.
Our 8-wheel tipper and grab lorries carry up to 20 tonnes per load. Our 6-wheel grab lorries carry up to 12 tonnes. That's a serious amount shifted in one go — fewer trips, lower costs.
Both! We work with everyone — from homeowners needing a driveway resurfaced or soil removed, right through to main contractors on big commercial builds. No job too small, no project too big.
Muck Away

Muck Away

We handle inert waste (soil, clay, sand, crushed concrete, hardcore), non-hazardous waste (mixed construction waste, timber, green waste), and contaminated/hazardous soils requiring specialist disposal. Whatever you've got, we can sort it — and we'll make sure it goes to the right place.
Yes — every single load. We provide waste transfer notes for inert and non-hazardous waste, and consignment notes for hazardous waste. You'll always have the paperwork you need for your records and compliance.
Yes. We can arrange full waste classification and remove contaminated soils to the correct licensed facilities. We handle everything — including hydrocarbon-impacted soil, made ground, and asbestos-contaminated materials. Full consignment notes provided.
Grab Lorry Hire

Grab Lorry Hire

A grab lorry carries more than a skip, loads itself (no manual labour), reaches over walls and fences, doesn't need a permit, and is gone in about 30 minutes. It's usually cheaper per tonne than skip hire too — especially if you've got a decent amount of waste to shift.
Our grab arms can reach approximately 4–5 metres from the lorry — that's enough to reach over walls, fences, hedges, and other boundary obstacles. The arm can also pick up material from spots that a normal tipper simply can't access.
Ideally yes — or at least someone to show the driver where the waste is and confirm what needs to go. If the waste is easily accessible and clearly identifiable, we can collect without you being there, but we'd always prefer someone on site to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Aggregate Delivery

Aggregate Delivery

We supply a full range — building sand, sharp sand, MOT Type 1, MOT Type 2, 10mm & 20mm gravel, crushed concrete, recycled MOT Type 1, crushed brick hardcore, planings, topsoil, drainage stone, hardcore, and ballast. If you need something not listed, ask — we can probably get it.
Yes — our drivers are experienced at precision tipping and can place material exactly where you need it, even in tight spaces. For really restricted access, we can also use the grab lorry to place aggregates over walls or obstacles.
Absolutely. All our aggregates come from certified quarries and recycling facilities. They meet the relevant British Standards and specifications — no corners cut.
Asphalt Supply

Asphalt Supply

We use insulated sheets on our tippers to keep the heat in during transit. We also coordinate closely with the asphalt plant to time collection so that your material arrives at the optimum temperature for laying and compaction.
We supply base and binder courses (AC20, AC32, dense bitumen macadam), surface courses (AC10, AC14, SMA, thin surface course systems), and specialist mixes (porous asphalt, HRA, cold lay, coloured/decorative asphalt). Tell us what you need and we'll source it.
Asphalt is time-sensitive so we coordinate with the plant to match your laying schedule. We can usually arrange delivery within 24–48 hours of your order, and for regular customers we can often turn things around same day. The key thing is: we stick to the agreed time so your crew isn't left waiting.

No. We give you straight-up pricing — what we quote is what you pay. No surprise fees, no hidden extras. We get good rates from local suppliers and pass them on to you.
We accept bank transfer and card payments. For regular commercial customers, we can set up account terms — just ask when you get in touch.
Absolutely. We regularly run multiple loads per day for larger projects — we can keep lorries running back and forth between your site and the quarry, disposal point, or asphalt plant all day. Just let us know the volume and we'll work out a schedule.
